Silent Tears

Oh Peace!
Where are you
On the mountain top I searched
Along the plains and lowlands I searched
In the deepest valleys I searched
Seems you left us
Gone too far to be traced
Wherever you are
Please make haste to return
Lest the heart flood with silent tears

That tender heart is bleeding
Anguish rips through the vessels of the being
The soul shivers with the midday sun
Like a captive in the shackles of despair
Longing for the hour of freedom
To set at rest the silent tears

The land of peace turned a land of battle
Bullets have become morning breakfast
Fear, maliciousness, mistrust on full scale
Taking of life, a secret ornament no more
In the middle of shambles are the Innocent
Wailing and waiting for the gods to intervene
Just to set at rest the silent tears

knights many they say they are,
Setting rules man dare not,
Yet lips can’t speak
Nor the scribes can’t inscribe
Lest they become premium steaks
For creatures of the underground world
That wait patiently as drip on, the silent tears

Peace! Peace! Peace!
Please make haste to return
The land is under fire
Literacy is under threat
Commerce is under threat
Faith is under threat
Life is under threat
Come back and take your place
Overcome the tomfoolery with thy charm
Invade the darkest of hearts
Break the chains of maliciousness
And set to rest the silent tears

  2. The lamentations never seem to cease. We are resigned to silent tears because the turmoil is just not about to freeze. Maybe there's a magic that looms around with ease, just waiting for the right time to sail in and bestow some peace
